 'আধার' যেন না ঘনায়!

ইদানিং বেশ কিছু মামলার তদন্ত করতে গিয়ে আমরা দেখতে পাচ্ছি, বহু সংখ্যক নিরপরাধ মানুষ তাঁদের কষ্টার্জিত অর্থ হারাচ্ছেন তাঁদের ব্যাঙ্ক অ্যাকাউন্টের সঙ্গে যুক্ত Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AEPS)-এর মাধ্যমে। কোনোরকম ওটিপি বা পিন (PIN) শেয়ার না করে, কোনো রিমোট অ্যাক্সেস অ্যাপ ডাউনলোড না করে, এমনকি যেখানে লেনদেন হচ্ছে, সেখানে কার্ড বা তার মালিকের উপস্থিতি ছাড়াই।

এক্ষেত্রে ব্যাখ্যা একটাই। কোনোভাবে আপনার অজ্ঞাতসারে আপনার আঙুলের ছাপের নাগাল পেয়েছে প্রতারকরা, যা আপনি আধার কার্ড করানোর সময় জমা করেছেন বায়োমেট্রিকস হিসেবে।

এই সমস্যার একমাত্র সমাধান হল, আধার ওয়েবসাইট বা mAadhaar অ্যাপের মাধ্যমে আপনার আধার বায়োমেট্রিকস লক করে রাখা। মনে রাখবেন, আপনার আধার কার্ড যাচাই করার সময় এই বায়োমেট্রিকস-এর প্রয়োজন হয়, সুতরাং লক করে রাখলে সেই পথ বন্ধ হয়ে যাবে।

mAadhar অ্যাপের মাধ্যমে আপনার বায়োমেট্রিকস লক করতে এই কয়েকটি পদক্ষেপ নিন:

১। গুগল প্লে স্টোর থেকে অ্যাপটি ডাউনলোড করুন এই লিঙ্ক ব্যবহার করে: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details...

২। আধার কার্ডের সঙ্গে যুক্ত আপনার মোবাইল নম্বর এন্টার করুন

৩। 'রেজিস্টার মাই আধার' (Register My Aadhaar) বিভাগে যান

৪। চার সংখ্যার একটি পাসওয়ার্ড বানান, এবং সেটি গোপন রাখুন

৫। নিজের প্রোফাইল তৈরি করুন, ক্যাপচা সঠিকভাবে লিখুন, এবং ওটিপি-র আবেদন জানান। এই ওটিপি ভেরিফাই করে নিন

৬। 'মাই আধার' (My Aadhar) বিভাগে যান, 'লক বায়োমেট্রিকস' (Lock Biometrics) বেছে নিন

যে কোনও সময় আধার কার্ড যাচাই করার প্রয়োজন হলে এই অ্যাপ ব্যবহার করে বায়োমেট্রিকস আনলক করতে পারেন, তবে যাচাই প্রক্রিয়া শেষ হয়ে গেলে ফের একবার লক করে রাখুন।

অনুরোধ, ভিডিওটি শেয়ার করুন, যাতে সকলের কাছে আমাদের এই সচেতনতার বার্তা পৌঁছে দেওয়া যায়।

Stop the Aadhaar Attack

While investigating several recent cases, we have come across innocent victims losing their hard-earned money from their bank accounts through Aadhaar Enabled Payment Systems (AEPS) without their knowledge, from a distant place, without sharing any OTP or PIN, or downloading screen sharing apps, with neither an Aadhaar card nor its holder being present at the AEPS centre.

The explanation here is that somehow, their fingerprint impressions may have been compromised from some source, and they are unaware of it.

The learning is that every one of us must keep the biometrics option locked for Aadhaar authentication through the Aadhaar website or the mAadhaar app.

To lock your biometrics through the mAadhar app, go through the following steps:

1) Download and install the app from Google play store using this link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details...

2) Enter your registered mobile number linked with your Aadhaar card

3) Go to 'Register My Aadhaar'

4) Create a four-digit password and keep it to yourself

5) Create a profile, enter captcha and request an OTP, then verify OTP

6) Go to My Aadhar, click on 'Biometrics Lock'

You may unlock your biometrics from the same app whenever Aadhar authentication is required, but once the process is complete, make sure to lock them from the same app.
